Details: Celebrate the anniversaries of two popular Russian literary magazines—the 65th of The New Review, published in New York, and the 75th of Znamya, published in Moscow—with an appearance by their editorial teams and a photographic history of the publications.
Enjoy readings, theatrical performances, archival film footage, live music and original artwork. See theatrical interpretations of the poetry of Ivan Bunin, the first Russian author to receive the Nobel Prize for literature, as well as an exhibition of his books, memoirs and poetry. Special guests include: Marina Adamovich, editor-in-chief of The New Review, Natalia Ivanova, editor-in-chief of Znamya, Rene Guerra, doctor of Slavic studies and academician, and authors from The New Review and Znamya
