‘Ticket to Jerusalem’ is an exhibition of nearly a hundred of entries from a year-long international mail-art project. ‘Ticket to Jerusalem’ showcased the designs of artists from 17 countries who answered the call to design the “perfect airplane ticket to Jerusalem”. The tickets (boarding passes), all created on 8×3” sized medium, collectively form an image of the Promised Land that has long been sought out as a destination, whether for emigration, aliyah or pure pleasure.

Opening reception: Tues. April 13th. Beautiful terrace with views of Manhattan, wine, cool Israeli music from 70s, as heard on Heebru.com

Made possible by a grant from CWW, a project of COJECO, a UJA-FED NY beneficiary.
